Accessibility statement
Money tools should work for everyone. This site targets WCAG 2.2 AA and is built so the calculators can be used without a mouse, without JavaScript for reading results published in pages, and without animations for those who opt out.
What is in place
- Full keyboard operation: every control, including the custom dropdowns, works with Tab, arrow keys, Enter and Escape, with visible focus rings throughout.
- Screen-reader support: semantic HTML, labelled form fields, ARIA roles on custom widgets, live regions announcing recalculated results, and text alternatives for every chart and image.
- Motion respect: all scroll animation is disabled automatically for prefers-reduced-motion users.
- Colour is never the only signal: figures, labels and text carry the meaning; contrast meets AA on text and controls.
- Zoom and mobile: layouts reflow to 400% zoom without horizontal scrolling; touch targets meet the minimum size guidance.
- Plain-English errors next to the field they concern, and your inputs are never wiped by a mistake.
Known limitations
The PDF export uses the browser's print output, so its accessibility depends on the browser. The interactive charts are decorative summaries of numbers that always also appear as text.
Report a problem
If any part of this site is hard to use with your setup, please say so via the contact page: what you were trying to do, the page, and the assistive technology or browser involved. Accessibility reports are treated like calculation errors, fixed at source, not queued.
