True Take-Home is operated independently. For any privacy question, or to exercise the rights below, use the details on the contact page.

What the calculator does with your figures

Everything you type is processed on your own device. Because the numbers are never transmitted or retained, they do not constitute a collection of personal data under the UK GDPR. The PDF, Excel and Word downloads are generated in your browser too, the file is written on your device without passing through this site.

Shared links

Some addresses carry a salary in them, such as ?salary=45000. That value is read by your browser to prefill the form. If you share such a link, whoever receives it can see the figure it contains.

Analytics

If analytics are in use, they are limited to aggregate statistics, which pages are visited, and roughly where visitors come from. No cookies are set for this purpose and no individual is tracked across other websites.

Advertising

This site does not currently show advertising. If that changes, this section will be updated before any advert appears, and it will name the advertising partner, explain that third-party vendors including Google use cookies to serve ads based on prior visits, and link to Google's advertising policies and to aboutads.info for opting out. Because visitors are in the UK and the EEA, a consent notice will be shown and no advertising cookie will be set until consent is given.

Your rights

The UK GDPR gives you rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and portability. In practice, because this site holds no data about you, there is nothing to supply, correct or delete. You are still welcome to ask. If you are unhappy with the response, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office.
